Today， I’；m going to share a DIY project to bring some vintage charm to your front porch! ？On a recent trip to the local auctionaccent pillow case baby floor， I spotted this antique French chair. It had clearly been loved quite a bit and some would say it was just worn out and worthless! ？ I ended up winning the bit for $1!personalized pillow cases
I brought the chair home with the thought that I would have Mark shore up the frame ？to make it sturdy again and then I would reupholster the seat. ？The longer I looked at it in the garage， the more I decided that I wasn’；t up to reupholstering this old girl (at least not right now)! ？But， I did think of a way to make the chair pretty for summer!
Curtains play a large role in setting the tone for your decor. Too heavy, and they make a room feel dreary. Before you sit down to sew up new shades, curtains or drapes for your home, you need to pick the right fabric. Since the color, pattern and style of your fabric is a personal choice, we’re going to focus on the more objective side of selecting fabric—the function of the window treatment. There is a lot to consider when selecting a fabric for window treatments. You want to think about the style of curtain, the décor of the room, and the function of the window treatment.
That sweet Kari and Becky over at U Create asked if I’d join in on their Homemade Ornament series this year.? Yes please!!!? For some reason, I’m so into Christmas REALLY EARLY this year.? It all started with that tree I decorated……so I guess I can blame Michael’s. ;) ? But I am going crazy that we still have another 2 weeks before Thanksgiving is here and we can officially pull out the rest of the decor.
