May is almost over…where did the time go? Seems like Spring just started yet we are already heading into summer here in NC. ?I’ve been really busy this month with a huge studio transformation that isn’t quite yet done…but while dismantling my studio I found to my delight some projects that required a little TLC.

Flowers are intimidating. First, there’s the cost…like serious sticker shock at the floral shop. Then, you spy the much less expensive flowers from the grocery store. You bring them home and plop them in a vase. They look nothing like the beautiful arrangements from the florist and they never seem to last longer than a week. You think, maybe cheaper isn’t better. So flowers go from being an everyday luxury (which you want) to an out of reach luxury (you think you can’t have).

Could you get through an hour—much less an entire day—without your best friend? Absolutely not. When you need an empathetic ear, a helping hand, a drinking buddy, a trusty advisor, or all of the above all at once, your best friend always has you covered. So why not let the world know how much your BFF means to you in a classic, timeless way: Give the gift of the friendship bracelet. That's right, folks, friendship bracelets are back in a big way—even for those who might be a little old for summer camp—and you can easily master these simple DIY bracelet techniques in winter, summer, spring, or fall. Our advice: Make it a group activity. Host a crafting potluck for a summer camp-inspired crafter-noon. Invite the gang, tell them what to bring, toast up some marshmallows, crank up your favorite campfire songs, and get to work on buddy bracelets. The good news is that friendship bracelets have come a long way since the 1990s, and now there’s a style fit for even your most sophisticated BFF. We've gathered 18 easy friendship bracelet ideas that will get you in the crafting spirit and inspire your best friend to make room on his or her wrist.
